Land acquisition, land conveyance, and project constructability depends greatly on how accurately and timely the survey is planned and executed. Geo Land's project team research and analyze boundary information, topographic features, easement locations, encroachments, title exceptions and deed analysis prior to project execution. Field data is collected using a variety of technologies found in our geomatic toolbox, to include GPS, servo-driven robotic instruments and 3D laser scanning. Collected field data and electronic drawings are merged together to create a 3 dimensional product that can be used for many land related needs.
Photogrammetry is a measurement technology in which the three-dimensional coordinates of points on an object are determined by measurements made in two or more photographic images taken from different positions. Geo Land's mappers identify common points on each image and construct a line of sight (or ray) from the camera location to the point on the object. It is the intersection of these rays triangulation that determines the three-dimensional location of the point. Geo Land uses modern Leica LPS software known as Softcopy to perform all our client’s photogrammetric needs

Legal descriptions, Lot Line Adjustments, Lot Mergers, Annexation Documents, Certificates of Compliance, and Legal Certifications are common documents necessary for land related projects to progress. Geo Land holds professional surveying licenses in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado, as well as being certified Legal Document Assistants in California.
